People who are kind and gentle are often accused of being fearful, timid and hesitant.

as people,

use force
use lies
use pain
use intimidation
use bullying
use cruelty
use oppression
use fear

to make things be
the way we want them to be

we are not caring for others
and
we abuse life
both our own life
and the lives of others

we do so leave love

only love will save us

So many people feel so overwhelmed and disempowered by the stresses of modern life that they convince themselves they can't make a difference. So they don't even try. is that we are not asked to live as if we are not hurting, 
as if we are not broken. 
In fact, 
we are invited to recognize our brokenness 
as a brokenness in which we can come in touch 
with the unique way that God loves us.
