silent night, holy night
all is calm, all is bright
He sighs. He knew he shouldn’t have promised he’ll tell them when time comes to say good bye.
He was standing behind the nearly closed door and can hear Jensen singing Christmas songs. The guy always refuses to sing in front of people but everybody knows he had a great voice. He would never think it was so deep, so velvety and so gentle. Perhaps does it sound so beautiful because of the Christmas spirit or perhaps because he is singing them for Jared.
The younger man is laying his head on his friend’s laps.
Jared has always been the most expressive of the both, the one to always smile and joke but tonight he just wants to stay still and cuddle around the larger man.
Jensen who is gently singing for him. Jensen who is lovingly messing with his angel’s hair. Once did he hear Jensen called Jared “Angel” and he did as if he didn’t hear. He doesn’t want to interfere into their private lives.
He sighs again when Jensen stops sing still sitting on the couch with Jared closed to him, in the silent night, knowing they won’t be able to share their holy night being in their families on their own.
“Please” whispered Jared and Jensen is singing again.
He decided to tidy their house leaving them alone. It’ll always be another flight for them to book and go back home, for now better leave them have their Christmas time together.
