very nice... but still i feel that you are a great individual. i know many people that live in a great environment that decide to do things in different ways. you make what you want out of the lessons that you learn in life. also another thing, it is your decision to surround yourself with loving, great people. so for everything they have done for you, you have also returned the favour in a way that may be noticed or may not be. in a way i feel that it is not luck as you said, but a combination of you being a good individual with the surroundings that you have placed yourself in. but i do understand the largest part of this equation, the parents. they instill all the key ideals within an individual, and in that case, we are all lucky. for our mothers and fathers have given us both life, but also the lessons to succeed in life.

lastly... think about pre-determination and a snowball effect.
