I feel so lost. I feel no passion. I feel a lot of nothingness and longing for close connections.

How did I ever get to this lonely point? Caring too much about academics and work? Not ever having anything to say?

Is there something wrong with me or have I just not found the right people here? How do I find the right people?

Today I exchanged greetings with several people that I recognized while walking around campus. Three different people said, "How are you?" I said, "Good. How about you?" Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom is my new favorite book. I started reading it during my breaks and lunch at work today and spent the rest of my evening finishing it. I LOVE IT! I wish I had more life experience. There's no inspiration for any writing or spurts of creativity. I've got nothing. I guess that could be my wish for Christmas...for me to finally experience what life has to offer. Well, that's a pretty big wish, I suppose. I'd at least like to see the beauty in life again.
