Is it just me or does anyone else get the annoying AIM spam? Where you get a random IM from some strange username? With the only user info as www.myspacepage.net? Which turns out to be really REALLY bad pictures of some naked person? AIM claims they have no control over this...so I just keep on adding to the "blocked user" list. Sigh.

Kate booked the tickets for Conclave last week - good sleuthing on Kate's part to find very affordable tickets that don't require us to be at the airport at some ungodly hour of the morning, both coming and going. Flying out August 8 from O'Hare and coming back from LAX on August 13 - $305 plus tax. Boo-yah.

So the new iPac (PDA) I bought in October developed a problem with its power button. I thought it was fixable, the Geek Squad disagreed, and thanks to Best Buy's product replacement plan, I was supposed to get a new one (or at least 299.99$ toward a new one ( Read more... )
