Back to the doctor today. She thinks I have a new infection (the THIRD this winter); I bet I got it from the mouthbreather on the elliptical next to me at the gym on my first day back in months. 3 weeks of no coughing and I was thinking I was finally over this...and Monday night I start coughing again. So effing annoyed. Been able to put on extra time at work for tax season, made it to the gym for the first time in forever, and now this. It's not real bad (yet) but the gagging coughs are back too. When it rains...
Saw my dr again yesterday because I went downhill again after finishing meds for bronchitis. Now I have bronchitis and a sinus infection. Another round of antibiotics, this time targeting my sinuses, and more codeine cough syrup so I can get some sleep. Hibernation weekend.
I'm a bear in my cave this weekend, and my only responsibility is feeding my cubs (the Cantarella Crew, heh; they won't let me sleep if I don't). My cough turned into bronchitis, and although it's been a long time since I've been contagious, according to the dr, the cough is proving a real bitch to get rid of. Stayed home yesterday with a cough that won't quit. Waiting for it to get a little better today before going in. I don't think I've got a cold, still feels like allergies, just out of control. So this morning Chiaro knocked one of my dragon bookends off the mantel and broke it into 6 pieces plus. Could've been worse, some of the larger pieces landed in a basket full of newspapers on the floor, giving them a little cushion so they didn't shatter so badly. So this morning was Zia's first foray into the suspended ceiling.
She's pretty good about coming when she's called (at least I'm sure she knows her name, compared to the other two) so when she didn't show up for her brush time, I went hunting for her. Manga deluge.
Thanks to RightStuf's habit of holding on to my orders even if part of them are in stock, I'm about to get clobbered by 18 vols of various manga. Actually, the 'holding on' doesn't really bother me as it gives me time to read the manga on my Nook. But I still have 5 of those left to go too...and the Temeraire book I'm currently reading that was ( Read more... )
