Second Edition - not always known for its consistent brilliance
So, inspired by baridmerlin's entry, I have purchased and am in the process of downloading a bunch of crazy second-edition books. During this process, I have noted that yes, second edition has ridiculous monsters and items, but it also has some pretty strange ideas of good spells as well.

You'd think they'd be content with reality shows that let you be a superhero, but apparently that's not the only kind of reality show out there. Ladies and gentlemen, "Ninja Warrior"!! The show where a bunch of random athletic Asian guys have all kinds of ninja-riffic obstacles which they have to try and overcome. It's kind of crazy, but it's fun! -

I miss having school to go back to. I loved college - I think college was when I first realized what it could mean to be really well-adjusted and happy. The night of June 20, little sis and I stopped at "Diagon Alley" and hung out with preschool staff for a bit (enjoying all the "Potter-iffic" stores there, and how the shopkeepers all dressed up, yay!).
