Completely unrelated to why I started this post, but why are various organizations/companies all about helping OTHER countries? I just saw a commercial for Brita filters. For every sale, or dollar amount, or whatever, they are going to help Kenya. I'm all about helping, but maybe we should focus on helping out America first. Just like the one ( Read more... ) -

Computer questions
Kind of browsing computers. What's a brand that everyone likes? I'm kind of thinking of getting a new laptop. With starting the nursing program in the fall (hopefully.. stupid college), I think a new laptop would be a good decision. Or, maybe a new desktop. Either way. Know what's really gross? When I can hear the people who live BELOW me coughing up lungs on their balcony from all the cigarettes they smoke. Totally gross. And, it's (#)*@#() freezing out; why the hell would you go outside and smoke?! It's so chilly in here, it's ridiculous. Computer related question!
You know how your computer/laptop sounds like it's revving up when it's buring a CD? Well, my laptop sounds like that pretty much all the time. Except, I'm not burning a cd all the time. Anybody have any idea why? I think it's the fan... but like I said, I haven't the foggiest idea why it's constantly going. It's probably going to blow up soon -
