Somehow I managed this morning to get into a conversation about romantic love with my nearly-8-year-old.

Heath: What are hormones?
Heather: They are chemicals in your body that control how you behave.
Heath: Like in your brain?
Heather: Yes.
Heath: So we're sort of robots? Except we're alive.

Today I hung a dozen pieces on the Art Wall at Brainwash. I must admit, it looks pretty badass. I'm pleased with how I hung it. (I wish the wall had been painted beforehand, it's a bit grubby. But oh well.) Please go take a look at it this month, if you're in SF.
