Cornbread Improvised Recipe #1
a lrg seasoned cast iron skillet
1 1/2 c corn meal
1/2 c flour
2 ts baking powder (or baking soda + cream tartar to substitute)
(reduce this amount if you're using self rising flour - it's already mixed in)
1/2 c sugar
1 ts salt
2 eggs
1 c buttermilk (or milk + cream tartar to substitute)
