an apple a day...
we went to Webster, MN, today to the Nelson Apple Orchard, since the SiL and i had both bought a Crowd Cut coupon for this little adventure. the website lead it to sound more exciting than it was. yes, it was a cute little place, and it was NOT crowded, thankfully.

day 14--what you wore today
i am guessing this is also an "assignment" just to get people typing, as we have already covered this topic...
woke up in PJs, and when i got out of bed i put another shirt on aS well as my cozy Acorn fleece socks. but PJ time didn't last long enough, as Clara had a volleyball game at 8:45, we needed to be there at 8:30, and it was a 36 minute ( Read more... ) -

day 10-- what you wore today
i started the day out in PJs, or what pass as PJs--"work-out" pants that are a bit heavy for the gym when one is hot and sweaty, so they became cozy PJ bottoms. navy ble waffle-thermal Elm Creek "Let it Snow" shirt i bought one day when the kids and i went tubing and i was not dressed warmly enough for hours outside. cozy Acorn fleece socks.

friendship
trust
just being together without HAVING to talk or do stuff, unless you want to
loyalty
i don't know how much detail is great detail, or why i even have to go into great detail if i don't want to.
those words seem pretty self explanatory.
but i do think friendship is a very important base of love that must be there first. -
day 4--what you ate today
i had the usual 2 cups of coffee (cup being 16 oz) with soy milk of the light and vanilla variety and 2 spoonfuls of sugar. i always used to use 2 spoonfuls when i used cow milk and then soy milk. when i discovered vanilla soy milk, light, i thought i would cut down by one spoonful of sugar, but old habits die hard and i often forget to stop ( Read more... ) -

Take me home to Clara City
OK, not home. that's a bit too out there, a bit too country for me.
