My hair has been a tangled mess the last couple of weeks, so I just cut it. It doesn't look any better, but hey - less tangled.
Therefore, in an effort to avoid doing my homework, we have another

What's really funny is that I just snorted and laughed at this at first, and then it took me half a second to go, wait a minute, hey! I think she might be... is that supposed to be... she's mocking me!!!
In fact, I think you were one of the last people to cut my hair. Therefore my answer to your first question would be yes, I get a friend or family member to cut it for me. Six inches a year. I'm way overdue right now.
-If I could trade it back in, I so would (and bonus question - for whose?).
I think I lean toward this, just because, you know, one couldn't possibly be happy with one's own hair. For what it is, I like it long, but then again I literally cannot remember what it was like to have hair any shorter than the waist, so I can't really say if I would like it better short. But it's thin and bland and eh, and if I could, I would trade it in for Halle Barry hair in Catwoman - the only good thing about that ( ... )

My hair is giving me trauma. It used to be thick and slowly thinned out in my 30s thanks to my thyroid. Lately I've been shedding a small furry beast every morning in the shower. It's awful. And I do need to wash it everyday because I'm too oily. Also, my head is full of (holstein) cowlicks. I can never get a good, sleek, ponytail look.

Or maybe every year and a half.
And, as a secondary question -
-Eh - I'm used to it by now, and it's less work than shaving my head.
I find hair accessories very comforting - the blow dryers, the curlers (all kinds), the curling iron, brushes, combs, gel, clips, decorations, etc. I like having these things under my bathroom sink whether I use them or not.
