Application: THEME: Late Beatles Songs

01. Name: Alex
02. Age: 19
03. Which Beatle are you stamped as? George

04. What is your favorite album of this period (Revolver through Let It Be) and why? Sgt. Pepper's is a perfect mix of fun(With A Little Help From My Friends, When I'm Sixty-Four) and thoughtful(A Day In The Life, Within You Without You).
05. Do you prefer more John, Paul, George, or Ringo songs? I still think George has the best ratio of good to bad songs.
06. What do you think of the Beatles’ solo careers? Solo Beatles work almost as well as Beatles together. Almost.

07. Do you prefer faster or slower songs? All depends on the mood I'm in.
08. Do you like more experimental songs or tradition rock songs? Experimental. Nothing wrong with taking chances.
09. Do you like songs about personal love and loss, or songs with broader themes? I love songs about love, but that was like half of the early Beatles catalogue. Let's shake things up.
10. Do you prefer songs with an uplifting message or sadder songs? Sadder, although it doesn't hurt to be happy once in a while.
11. Do you like songs the tell more of a third person story or a more personal first person song? "Here come the sun and I say it's alright," "Attracts me like no other lover," "I read the news today." Seems some of my favorite songs are first person.
12. Name some characteristics of your favorite songs (i.e. sad, dancy, ballad, simple, experimental etc.): I usually love a sad song(they say so much) but I'm also a weird artsy music fan so the experimental or minimalist stuff really appeals to me.

13. Pick any quote or lyric (of any song, not just Beatles) that really defines you:
Sometimes I wish that I could stop you from talking
when I hear the silly things that you say.
I think somebody better put out the big light,
'cause I can't stand to see you this way.

Alison, I know this world is killing you.
Oh, Alison, my aim is true.
My aim is true.

14. What kind of messages are important to you? My very loose grasp of morals tells me that message aren't that important, but I suppose peace and love aren't terrible messages.
15. What five things in life could you not live without? (not literally!) My computer, my bed, my "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" book, my sketchbook and a pencil(or two or three or...I go through a lot of pencils)
16. Are you a romantic or cynic? I believe I said cynically romantic(or did I say romantically cynical?)
17. If you could write a song that the whole world would listen to, what would it sound like and what would it say? Hm...Y'know what? I'm not really sure what I would write about. My mood is different every few hours or so. It would probably be weird though.
