I burned my favorite, dilapidated shoes on a funeral boat two nights ago. They deserved an epic burial, though it hurt me to let them go. I will never love another pair of kicks so truly and so deeply. Never, ever, ever.

Well, I've managed it again- to be completely and utterly poor. Tomorrow, I go back to "work" at the same job I had this summer- donating plasma twice a week.
