happy tofurkey day, everyone. unfortunately i'm not going to make it to the festivities today, as i'm still feverish and vomiting. i'm bummed, but you can't time these things, so what can you do? i hope everyone enjoys the day with family, friends, and good food- or whatever they have planned.

my first student, abriana, passed her GED exam!!!! she got the results today. she'd taken it earlier and while passed all subjects, her average fell short of the requirement by 40 points. this time she brought her score up not by 40 points but by 220 points. i am sooo proud of her. she is ecstatic and looking forward to working and taking classes.

yesterday i had 1/2 day of work, which flew by. however when i got home my eye was killing me! i was in tears and so i called mersi, the new eye place i'm going to and they took me last minute. my aunt and my mom drove me into cambridge and this wonderful doctor stayed open late for me and did this new test no one else had ever done- a gooey ( Read more... )
