sad: my third coworker in 1.5 months was laid off tuesday

good: magnolia house is back in the family (long story).

great: it's the weekend! :) hopefully frogger will get lots of use between thunderstorms (which will be watched from the beach!)

so last night i was up late fussing about missing TRA staff day tomorrow (today) instead of resting. like i said, got a concussion (my second one) Monday morning (I slammed my car's trunk on my head) and had it diagnosed on Tuesday- boss brought me to my doctor's from work b/c I was really pale and dizzy. my favorite coworker and another beloved coworker were laid off while i was at my tuesday training. the company laid off two employees from the revere office, two from my salem office, and completely closed down the gloucester office. i was able to say goodbye to one of them but not to my coworker who i became really close with. i am in complete ( Read more... )

i am exhausted. brought mozart to mass veterinary emergency referral hospital in woburn around midnight last night. he was trying to pass urine all over the house, straining, vomiting, and dragging his behind on the floor. they said to bring him in. told me it's $147 just to bring him in. what else was i supposed to do? mozart is 12; i've had him ( Read more... )
