I know...actually my mom was four years older than I am now when she had me, and I was the first of three for her...so perhaps I am worrying prematurely :-).

I hate to sound like an old lady here, but you are still quite young and don't even sweat those things happening. The right person will come to you and you can still have all the things you want. The problem is they might not happen in the timeframe you want it to occur

thank you so much mel...actually, I think about you a lot when I am reminding myself not to settle, because I know how long it took you to find greg and how perfect he is for you. and I guess if I have to wait several more years for something like that I can handle it.

If the worst case scenario is you being a flighty awesome aunt, I feel like the world would be lucky as hells to have you in that role. Plus: trips! Affairs! Cool hairdo's! Kids who love you to pieces and then you get to LEAVE THEM with their MOM! That's actually exactly what I'm shootin' for, minus the affairs.

thanks hannah! apparently my niece is now throwing temper tantrums like I did as a kid, so my plan is to be the cool one who can relate to her and calm her down, then give her back. lol.
