There were once again many great fics on offer in this year's spn_j2_bigbang; this was the first one I managed to claim. I was inspired to try some magical animation. I was happy to learn the author didn't mind not having J2's faces in the storybanner, so I could experiment with the image of the tree I had in my head. This is what happened...

Your art is always so beautiful, and I absolutely adore that you share your process with us, so we can see just how much energy and time and creativity there is behind the finished products.

The messy pieces on the horse is perfect - that driftwood approach really fits. The sign!!! It's beautifully battered, gives that vintage and lovingly worn look. And the animation of the tree leaves, amazing.

WOW. You pull out the magic time and time again. That animation with the tree! I literally made a gasping noise. And the horse makes me want to see a whole series of animals in this style. Amazing.
