It would. I sadly I think their plot 'twist' is going to be that the Campbells are evil. Like we haven't seen evil Ruby characters manipulate Sam before. *rolls eyes*

I'm getting tired of this "you killed our dad, so now we're gonna kill you", it's been done, by the Winchesters, by the ghouls, now by the djinns. Next a bunch of tiny wendigos are gonna come after Dean and Sam and try to get revenge for their poor wendigo dad who was just trying to live in peace and feed his family!

This episode basically made me feel bad for Dean and Lisa. Hell, I'm shipping Dean/Lisa like burning now, though, I'm a little disappointed Lisa's kind of a doormat with her "your drinking and PTSD was the best year of my life!". That's a little :/ to me.

IDK what to make of the season. I'll keep watching because I don't have much to do on Fridays, but yeah, hopefully it gets better.

Also, this episode has officially put Dean/Azazel into my top five SPN OTP's. And also solidified that YED is indeed a pedo, best lock your kids up tight now, y'all.

Yeah - the whole, "You killed my father, I will have REVENGE!" theme is a bit stale after 6 years. Especially since Show tried so hard to present monsters as being one dimensional, unthinking, unfeeling and just bad.

I'll certainly keep watching, but I'm holding out hope that it improves after this episode. I mean, how much worst can it get?

I liked monsters that were just plain evil. They aren't as fun when they have ~feelings~.

Um, Lisa knocks Dean up? Ben runs off with YED? Sam decides he wants to grow his hair out even longer?

I know, then I just want to put all of the monsters in therapy instead of pumping them full of rocksalt.

For me this ep fell very flat. I feel like there were emotional reactions that just weren't connecting for me? Sam, in particular, felt really off and part of the reason for that is because I felt Dean's reactions were "real." Clearly the man is exhausted and worn down by everything and that came through strongly for me. I really hope that there is more going on with Sam than what appears!

Why is everyone so willing to believe that Sam is who he says he is? I would have shot him on sight!

I have no idea what they're going to do with the Djinn, maybe question her??? Try to get some answers? No clue.

You don't know me at all...I was surfing spn_castiel's friends page to see if anyone else was as unhappy with last night's ep as I was...some people liked it! I agree with everything you've said. I'm tired of the revenge for killing our father! storyline, I didn't like Sam at all (too emotionless--he just really felt off to me in his portrayal last night)or the Campbell family hunter pack (they creeped me out and I just didn't like the look of them at all (if this turns into SPN family hunter hour pack--I'll be gone after watching since the very first ep aired--I want Sam & Dean, not the Campbell family show). I like the actor that plays Grandpa but enough already (yeah, I get it, Grandpa has hidden motives, may not be pure of heart, yada yada (if Dean could go to hell as an innocent b/c of a deal he made, could a baddie get in heaven cause of a deal ( ... )

Hi! It's nice to make your acquaintance - I'm happy you found this post :D

I reeeeaaaally hope that this doesn't turn in to SPN Hunters! I would stop watching. The show is not about the Campbell family for me and I've only been watching this for Sam, Dean, and Cas. The beauty of it is the emotional ties you have for the characters and they're going to spread that verrrry thing ASAP if they bring in a whole heap of new people.

I was surprised to find myself liking Lisa! I just hope that the season improves . . . a lot!
