I know that obviously Something Is Up with Sam and there's going to be plot about that but wow. Could they try to slather it on a bit thicker? I think maybe it was too subtle and nuanced for me to notice anything was amiss. /sarcasm

I was really proud of Dean in this episode and the rant he had at Sam and Bobby. He recognized that going to Lisa's in the state he was in was a messed up thing to do! I wish the writers would get more of their ideas from the TWoP boards!

They could not have laid the "Some thing is rotten in the state of Sam" plot any harder. Seriously.

I was also really proud of Dean for FINALLY making some healthy choices for himself. The thing is, I never expected those healthy choices to lead him away from Sam?! I'm totally thrown for a loop.

I totaaly agree with your conclusion, as soon as I saw the look on Sam's face when Dean hugged him-all smug and trying not to grin- I thought something was off about him.

And your description of Adam is brilliant lol!

I really like your second theory about Sam and the Impala... because I totally agree with you, something is up with Sam.

At the moment I'm really trying hard to like Sam again after Swan Song but him and the merry group (hee! love that description, btw!) of hunters was just... weird, like you said. I hope they drop them soon... or that they turn out evil.

The whole thing with Sam being back, Bobby knowing and not telling Dean also annoyed me... there's no way I'll forgive them the "we know what's best for you"-schtick they have going at the moment. Dean is a grown man after all and not a kid :/

I'm still not overly fond of Lisa but really? She's the healthier choice for Dean right now, even if it nearly pains me to write this.

I hope the Sam/Impala theory is even a little bit true! It would go far to redeem this episode.

By the end of last season I sorta liked Sam, but after this episode????? Yeah. No. WHICH is why I'm hoping that was not Sam!

Sam and Bobby completely infuriated me this episode. Like, really made me angry with their bad decision making skills.

I'm not fond of Lisa either, but the fact that she is so much of the clearly better choice for Dean right now makes me like her. She was the only one who had Dean's well being in mind the whole time.

Did you ever think that we'd be typing such words? If you'd gone back a year and told me that I would prefer Lisa over Sam, I'd have asked you when you'd stopped taking your meds . . .

Sadly, who knows how long we'd have to wait for it.

I think half of the fandom's hoping that that wasn't Sam, from what I've read so far.

There's something major going on. Maybe even Bobby's in on it and it's just us and Dean at the moment who don't have a clue?

I'm kind of curious now where the writers want to take her as a character, since the show's still about Sam and Dean (or that's what the writers are saying).

I'd have asked "Lisa who?" first because I completely forgot about her until Dean showed up at her doorstep. (I didn't forget Ben, though) But yeah, I'd have never thought I'd see something like this in an episode of Supernatural which wasn't set in an alternative universe.
