You should do fine! (or are you done?) The hard part is deciding what neat new faucet to put in (unless it is very odd so are limited on choice)

I'm done. I got the cheapest faucet they had---$17! This was an emergency, and I don't want to pick out our new faucet quite yet. I really just wanted to replace the hose and head, but that was about the same price -- and Home Depot didn't have the hardware. :)

The hardest part seems to be preventing the faucet from leaking when water gets behind it. I think some silicone sealant is called for.

I love it when people do their own fix-its! You and your lovely London-bird rock!
Do you know about this stuff?

I swear, I truly believe Home Depot is some sort of practical joke being played on those who try to buy things there. Sort of like the Museum of Jurassic Technology.

You win!

I need to change a tire today, which I have never done. I will take inspiration from you :).

Tires are easier than faucets, though not by much. Both of them are quite doable by most people.
