I will be flying into Portland Thursday morning. It has come to my attention that the snow in Portland is actually pretty severe. Enough so at least that my mom is literally snowed in and can't leave the house down in Newberg to get me at the airport. Birthday
Happy Birthday to me! I've now officially completed 26 trips around our sun. As a birthday present to myself, I will now leave school, go home, and sleep. Then I get to be back at school in 7 hours for a final. Hooray. -
music stuff
My conducting final was on Tuesday. I conducted the wind ensemble in Eric Whitacre's Lux Aurumque. I actually feel really good about it. yoga = win
I went to yoga today. It was awesome. I've been surprised and delighted to find that although I have not been doing a lot of yoga practice lately, every time I do I am noticeably more flexible. PORTLAND!
I'm going home! No more school! (at least for a few days). I really need this break. -
It's another one of those days...
I arrived at school at 7:20 am, and I'm about to leave now at 1:20 am. Oy. On the plus side, I'm very happy with the composition I wrote. It is a four hands piano piece for my pedagogy class, the idea being that you could teach this song by rote to a young student. I would be excited by it if I were such a student ( Read more... )
