As many of you know, I have a hearing loss.  Well, over the last few weeks I’ve been having problems with the hearing in my left ear.  The sound would fade away until it was practically gone, but would often be back to normal after a day or so.  Except for this last time.  As of right now the hearing in my left ear has been gone for five days.  I

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I can't even imagine what that is like. It must be really scary not knowing. I hope that the specialist is able to provide you with some more knowledge about your options and that you are able to find a solution that works well for you.

I don't think I can really understand just how hard this is for you but it sounds like you have realistic expectations of what might happen. One thing I do want to say is try to stay positive mate and even if the worst does happen just remember it is not the end of your life. Honestly you can still find that special someone you deserve just let them see the real you my friend. Good luck.
