From what I've been able to tell, it seems as if each ship (and our comrades currently stranded on the island) are each in possession of a map. These maps, if what I'm understanding what I'm reading correctly, are eerily similar if not identical. How is it that no one finds this odd?

I would certainly appreciate it if people on this ship would stop insinuating that the C'pn and I are an item. We are not, despite what the Marines (and Ace of all people) may think. You lot have driven me to drink. If anyone needs me, I'll be in the crows nest with my loaded rifle.

A bit of maudlin reminiscence on an anniversary.
It's been twenty one year and six months to the day since I joined Shank's crew. It's rather odd to think about. I was seventeen.
