I'm in Madison now. My dad and I drove back Saturday and Sunday, arriving around 6 pm on Sunday. It was nice to have Chanukah at home, latkes and all. We didn't celebrate the first 2 nights; I had already packed my menorah. The trip was easy, and the weather was amazing (and freaky for December). At the end
I'm finished. I have turned in my piece in the fifty million ways necessary (I'm NOT KIDDING!) I've written a short piece, turned that in. I printed the text panels for the gallery on vellum (plastic paper). We're practicing reading tomorrow and graduation is on Friday afternoon and the gallery opening is that night ( Read more... ) -

The Fourth Draft is done and will be handed in tomorrow. We copyedit in teams, with one member from the other writing class. Unfortunately, I'm part of a weird group, so I don't get to copy edit until Thursday. The others copyedit on Tuesday. It's all a little confusing.

Thanksgiving and the future
Happy Thanksgiving!
It's a beautiful day in Maine, approximately 48 degrees! I went for a walk around Mackworth Island this morning, it was busy with families out for a walk with their kids, grandparents, and dogs. I kind of felt funny being alone, without even a dog. It was still a nice walk and the water was gorgeous.

Sometimes, you find things when you aren't looking
This weekend I was delighted to discover that I have an amazing Jewish community sitting right under my nose. I went to services on Friday night at the Reform synagogue with a friend from Salt who is interested in Judaism. It was family service night. I'm back to normal: I don't stay mad for long...
The weather here has been spectacular--super windy today (but there's sun, some) and crazy windy/rainy yesterday
