Hi all. Just wanted to post a quick note from theban, who took baranduin home from the hospital today:

Just wanted to let you all know that Lora is now safely home and hopefully snoozing in her barcalounger. She seems to be doing pretty well, other than being very tired and parched.Hopefully that means that the surgery went well. I plan to see her tomorrow and ( Read more... )

Please give Lora my love. We were all thinking of her today in York Minster and hoping she had a successful surgery and has a speedy recovery. And *hugs* to you, too.

I will, love. I won't really rest easy until I talk to her myself - I may call later this evening and hope I don't wake her up.

Reading all the posts about your gathering in York took me back to our visit there. Miss you! *hugs*

I will do. When I saw that she'd made that little post above, I gave her a call, and we chatted for a good half hour. She sounded quite good, which put my mind mostly at rest about her being on her own so soon after the surgery. Will check in again first thing tomorrow, and then head down there bearing Jello and trashy magazines.

Thank you for keeping us updated, I've been thinking of her... *hugs* to you both. I was thinking of you both especially yesterday, as grievous_angel and myself met up with trianne and alchemilla in York and went to the Minster and Bettys!

*hugs* to you too, and congratulations on your graduation! I've been remiss about commenting, but I do keep track. Wish we could have been in York with you again. That was a lovely day - thanks for sharing your latest gathering and bringing back good memories.

Well, the pain meds were wearing off when I left, but it was given in spirit. She's doing really well, considering the surgery was only two days ago. Modern medicine and the body's recuperative powers are both amazing.
