last night's game was completely awesome. The Indians' rout of the Yankees was oh-so-sweet.

I would love for them to win this series, but even if they don't (Ah there's the Cleveland cynicism creeping in), I will long remember how I felt last night and all day today (at least until 5:07 eastern time).

here i am, in Columbus at a training - it's been a pretty good training, and fun in the evenings too. I got to eat most of the foods that I like to have when I come to the "big city" - Indian food (for lunch yesterday), Jeni's ice cream for a snack today. And plenty, PLENTY of alcohol. This has been the quietest day EVER on LJ. Missed you, yummydeb!

Also, this totally makes me sound weird, but did anyone else here the news that Jenna Fischer (Pam from The Office) and her husband broke up? And if they did, did anyone think to themselves, "hmm, well now she's free to get together with Jim." Anyone?

Okay, I sound cold-hearted but come on. I can't be the only person who thought that.

Yesterday was an odd day at work. I went in a little later because I knew I'd be working late. On the way in, I called one of my co-workers about the class we were to teach that night. She said she didn't even know if we would be having class because there was flooding in town.

whew, it's been busy here. and hot, too.

~ birthday! My birthday was pretty fun. I did have to work but it wasn't too bad of a day. C took me to dinner at Revolver, which was AMAZING. The end of the day was kind of hurried, but when I showed up, he was waiting there with a smile (aww) and a plate of heirloom tomatoes! Who could ask for more! ( Read more... )
