Finally fired actual firearms on Sunday at the NRA range in VA (can't recall what town it was, since I didn't drive there, but it was near Vienna). The weapons were provided by a friend's gun-nut identical twin who affects a rather hick-ish accent instead of my friend's affected British accent. Got another offer from my current employer for the manager job in San Diego. The current offer was offered with much more serious intent than the last offer. I've tentatively accepted. Just watched "The Triplets of Belleville". I have to say I was quite pleased by it. Slightly annoyed that the localization team didn't just leave the audio options as "French" and "Spanish" instead of using the original French audio track and calling it "English".
