SO many things I never knew about you, or the rest of the family! I don't know much about the relatives from that side of the family, I'd love to hear more about all these people I never met! ~Kim
I really wish I'd known Grandma and Grandpa Sanford, they sound like they were really cool. And yes, you are definitely still a part of the Sanford family--so much so that until I was about 10 or 11 years old it did not occur to me that you were not a blood relative of Uncle Joe, Uncle Ralph, and that whole side of the family.
Did you notice that the way you talk about the Sanfords' house and family back in Brockton is a lot like the way you describe staying over at Brian and Sal's house now? I love when I go to a family member's house and I just feel totally at home, almost like it's my own house.
Also I never knew that Danny and Michael lived with you for a bit. Having four boys around must have been interesting but it sounds like it was fun!
One of the things I like about reading these things is that they bring back so many memories. On the other hand, they tell me so many things I never knew-- like that you knew Grandpa before you knew Dad!
