If a good character study is the thing you're in the mood for, this is a movie for you. Of course my daughter was bored but I guess my advancing years and living throught the Truman Capote era I found it very interesting. I do find I'm tired of seeing movies about real people. Perception and performance.
It must be very hard being a performer. I was thinking about the concert I saw the other night and it struck me that although Karla Bonoff sang like a nightinggale and you couldn't tell the live performance from the record there waw something missing. Happy New Year
I'm making my first entry of the new year but this is also the beginning of my next 50 years. I refuse to make resolutions because I don't have a great history with keeping them but I think a life's list might be a good thing. Turning 50
I wonder when am I ever going to feel my real age. In my mind I'm still somewhere in my early thirties or maybe younger. I don't feel that insecure but I certainly don't feel 50. Or what 50 is supposed to feel like. I've been told that 50 is today's 40 or 30. I wonder if it's just that life has gotten so easy that you don't beat your body up with ( Read more... ) -
