wow. it's been a while since my last post. i had so much going on 3 months ago... there was stuff with mocha, school... then the holidays, and we all know how crazy busy it gets during the holidays...

i picked mocha up on thursday afternoon. she's been keeping quiet ever since we got home. the doctor told me to keep an eye on her and to look for "warning" signs, like lack of appetite, color loss and weight loss.

i guess my mom never told my dad that i decided to go ahead and have mocha go in for surgery. when he found out, all he could do was be angry at me. i didn't even bother to tell him about what the doctor found in mocha's liver, cuz i knew that would make him even angrier. he asked me how much it was and i told him "a lot" then he asked me if i had ( Read more... )

i took mocha in for her surgery today around 10am. when we got to the vet she automatically knew where she was, so she started whining in the car and was super anxious. without fail, 5 mins. into being inside she started barking. i think it's safe to say that she hates that place ( Read more... )

today was a LLLOOONNNGGG day. i woke up around 8, got some laundry done, then got into my dad's truck around 10 and went up to oc. my brother and brian followed an hour later in brian's pilot. while i was waiting for them, i managed to get my bed taken apart, the mirror taken off of my dresser, and most of the my stuff wrapped up in that awesome ( Read more... )

so mocha's test results came back... she's in the clear for surgery now. seriously, how many bullets have we dodged. :-P the doctor told me that the mass in her throat is probably a fatty tumor, because if it were anything worse it would have showed up in the labs and since nothing horrible showed up, she's good to go with the surgery... which is ( Read more... )

i'm sure you've all seen my recent facebook updates. mocha, my 13 year old german shepard, has been going through some medical stuff. she has a splenic tumor and she was supposed to have surgery to have it removed today, but i told the doctor that she'd been having trouble breathing at night and he ended up re-examining her to check out her ( Read more... )

lots of stuff has been going on... especially since my second to last post.

so i'm going to cut to the chase... there's a good possibility i'm moving back home to san diego.
