This week I've been very productive in getting things going for moving and starting school.  I signed a lease and paid a deposit on an apartment in Boone.  I only seen pics of the inside, but the location seems to be sunny and close enough to both campus and transit.  Fingers crossed that the pics are representative.  The units from the same ( Read more... )

Back in Asheville but my checked bag only made it to Atlanta.  It will be delivered.  Waiting in the pile of mail was a thin envelope from CIIS.  Rejection.  Not moving back to the Bay Area for school after all.  :(  ASU it is.  Being near the people I love it isn't.  I'm feeling pretty slapped around by the universe right now. 

I'm not sure. But I have a pretty good idea why I want to move back to where I used to live. And that probably means I didn't really know why I lived there before I moved. So perhaps I live where I live in order to enable me to consciously choose to live where I had been living by default before.

My preferences haven't really changed, but how I present them to folks has.  Since it's difficult for a lot of folks to switch pronouns or use they, I am okay with people with those problems using he all the time as an alternative.  My identity is the same genderfluid/fuck/queer/whatever.  To further aid those who are not practiced in responding to ( Read more... )
