I just met Trav for the first time last week during SXSW, but we had talked online a few times & he was a really nice guy. His band Avenue Rose played the Wild Weekend festival Mike & I threw last summer & he was currently playing guitar with the Cute Lepers. We are going to New York City to see the Sonics!!

November 3-6.. we are going to freeze our southern asses off!

Also, this is both Mike & my first time in New York, so we need to figure out cool stuff to do besides all the touristy stuff.

So far on our list: Record shopping & drinks at Manitoba's.
Any suggestions?

We went to a party last night where everyone was supposed to make a party mix CD, burn 10 copies of it, and then trade those with other people.
