Well, this is it. It's that time of the year when I realize, I can work my ass off now and actually finish everything, and possibly even make it respectable. Or I can let the daunting weight of it all get to me, and revert to escapism tactics. I just finished the Two Towers. Oh yes. I do love being a geek though. I titled one of my poems "Subterranean malediction" which is a line from 2 Towers referring to Entish cusswords (the poem's not really about Ents though. Not that I would be ashamed if it was.) We're really not that geekish when it comes down to it though-people get degrees in Tolkienesque literature. There are also people who spend a considerable amount of time immersed in online computer games that are based on the races of Middle Earth. I won't mention any names though.

I was talking about borrowing the book of Return of King, but copies any of the movies would rock my world. I only have the first two films and neither is the extended version and the first scene in Two Towers where gandalf is falling into um...'shadow and flame' doesn't play. It makes me so sad.
