Clove and I have our 3rd wedding anniversary this week, on Wednesday. The last couple of years we have tried to follow the traditional gift ideas. Yesterday, before teaching I decided to finally prune the roses near our walkway. These are rambler roses and they grow very joyfully and quickly. I am hesitant to do major pruning b/c they provide us with over 2 months of luxuriant red (hundreds of blooms)every summer. Clove and I were digging up "volunteer" tree seedlings to plant along our super exposed length of yard. I had my first day of classes yesterday. I was so nervous(I am always nervous when teaching a new class) that I slept terribly. But, both classes went well, I like the students.
