Gum on my sole
Plants me firmly to the ground.
Lazy and afraid to scrape,
The gum on my soul
Keeps my wings at bay.

One baby cries
in church
in his mothers arms.
Baby gets his bottle,
All heads turn.

One man sits
outside church
feeling his mothers arms
through his half empty bottle.
Stepped over, all heads shake.

Why is one any more our brother?

dont you absolutely hate when you love someone and you know they dont love you

Watching my closest friend
Pour his heart
Through his eyes
For the betterment of
My closest strangers
Makes me wish that
I had a heart.

There is a bridge in town
Where i would sit
And think of Jumping.
Mainly Because
I knew i never would.
