Er, why has this show been cancelled? You can explain it to me in big words if you want. I'm a fairly intelligent human being, honest.

I have never been so desperate to get home. The last two days in Norwich were monumentally wasteful and immensely infuriating. I did, however, get to bang out my frustrations on a fairly big drum, which may have actually saved a few people from physical injury and me from a night in a police cell. Two of my friends, Tracey and Dave, are having their son, Sam, christened this Sunday and I'm going to the service. I had the following conversation with Dave this morning.

Me: What time is the christening on Sunday, Dave?
Dave: What christening?
Me: Sam's.
Dave: Sam's?
Me: Yes, you know, your son.
Dave: Oh, yes. Er, don't know.

Oh, dear God.

Someone sent me this today. Oh, how I chuckled!

Snuck out out lunch time and came back with two pairs of boots! Result!

I also realised that it hasn't rained at all for the last four days, which must be something of a record for this summer.
