I love Altoids mints. However, today I finally realized why I have been so gassy.

ALTOIDS CONTAIN SORBITOL!! One of the many fartitol types of sugar alcohols. If you hate being gassy ALL THE TIME, avoid Altoids.

I'm devastated, because they are my favorites. *cries*

I have been sick since the weekend. This cold is dragging me down. I haven't been too crabby, but I am starting to. Three-fourths of my department is at 3 day training seminar, which leaves basically 3 of us to do all the work of the entire department. I'm a little sick of it, and it doesn't feel very fair. I am finally working on new music. I'm getting back to basics and working on new music using my old computer setup used on earlier classics such as Leaving Town and North Star. I think I am falling into another depression. For years, I usually have one major depression that lasts for a few weeks once a year. Last year I started to have more frequent mini-depressions. I find it absolutely shocking the level of negativity and hatred on the Weight Watchers message boards. Today, my friend Karen posted a thread about her new goal weight. She wants to lose 40 additional pounds by the end of September - which is 9 months away. Keep in mind that in the last year she has lost 100 pounds, so 40 more could be like child’ ( Read more... )

Work has been unbearably boring this week. The winter has just started and people are settling into their snow throwers and it’s too early for customers to start thinking about tillers or lawn mowers.
