a boy talks about palm branches

ponderings
I think it must be a miracle that my children have made it to the ripe ol' ages of 7 1/2 and 3 1/2 without being damaged by me and my obvious lack of mothering skills. I do not hover. I jump in when necessary but I let them be kids. They play outside, they ride a go-cart in our yard, Emma even drives it herself. They eat cheese puffs as a treat ( Read more... ) -

I had my first OB appointment today. Everything went well. Did the usual, pee in the cup, draw blood, do the yearly stuff. Next time they'll try to hear the heart tones, and if they can't do that with the doppler we'll do an ultrasound. If they do hear them, we won't do an ultrasound until around 18-20 weeks or so.
