I wrote a little piece on my sports blog about Michael Oher, who was drafted in the first round by the Ravens today. This has to be filed under "Anything Is Possible" His story is awesome, and is being made into a movie.

I've moved my sports, political, and travel blogs over to Orble. I'll always keep my personal journal here, but its easier to go between blogs over there.

I hope everyone is doing their part to on this Earth Day make this planet livable for the next generation..but if not don't worry, scientists may have found other places that we can move the party to just in case we destroy Earth. For our part we are recycling more, buying those twelve dollar(each) light bulbs, and I have stopped buying aluminum ( Read more... )

Braden got some great news today, a day before his first birthday. His physical therapist said that he is now considered to be officially "caught up" age wise. They generally give premies two years before they are considered to be on the same level as full term babies. So great new..no more appointments other than the routine well baby checkups. The Natinals Nationals added insult to injury to their 1-10 start this past week when they wore uniforms with the team's name misspelled. If you are a good sewer this might be a good time to forward your resume to the front office.

but I just don't get the buzz over Twitter...its like me tweeting over there.."hey I'm about to post something really great to my journal you should check it out"..seems silly and a little arrogant to me.

I spent the majority of my time at the tea party alternating between playing information giver, bouncer, and official donation taker.
