a couple of things

Battle of the bands last night felt a little lackluster, like the shine it's had in the past had fallen from it, but, some rocking out in the front fun was had and all was good. Crazy that in that one day a band of mine broke up and Ludarae played it's last show, woah dude. My favorite part of that concert though, was seeing Ethan's face turn ( Read more... )

precisely.
You always seem to sum things up perfectly, don't ever change.

-and I'm still partial to Such Great Heights as well as Brand New Colony

summing things up perfectly? haha, that's ironic because I always feel like I need to reword or rewrite my posts.

hen you mentioned dizzy wrestling at Oster's, I heard Disney wrestling...it makes more sense your way.

Brand New Colony and lately I really like Natural Anthem.

Where is the love for "This Place is a Prison"? That and "Nothing Better" are the best

highlights - rocking out in front of Scenic Route (Jim Strickland, Austin, Jeff, Jeff), Icelandic Foreign Legion and Ethan Forsgren

lowlights - small crowd, lack of money raised through pop cans, atmosphere not being quite there (not counting the times we were in front of the stage)

Soap was pretty good. Technically playing wise the best, but they were kind of boring. A lot of chill stuff which sounded good. Suburb opened the show and they probably did their usual stuff. J J Thompson had mass chaos and anarchy at the end, but I do'nt think they sounded that good despite having a pretty sweet ending. Atombender played a new hardcoreish song. IFL was alright, same with Scenic Route. Ludarae played Faceless, Can You, Remind Me, and Trees have Feelings too. Music gets a B rating overall. And Preeminents broke up right before the show so they didn't play.

whos the 2nd Jeff? whos Soap?

and that was the end of the Preeminents...proof that not all fairy tales have happy endings

Jeff Hanson, Soap is Kevin Raab, Ray Wolt and some really good freshman guitarist.

There's always the reunion tour.
