My sister Shoshie (23) got engaged tonight to Raviv Doron of Petach Tikva.
The parents are sitting now in the dining room discussing which guests to invite.
It's going to be an interesting American/Yeminite wedding.
Our first family wedding, yay!

We had a performance Sunday night (our third show). I felt a little down while I was doing my part, even though I waited all week for the show to come. That's because on the way to Alon Shvut my bus slammed into the truck in front of it and that wasn't so fun. No one was hurt, thank G-d. I got home today after a long week in Jerusalem and I happily found a wedding invitation on my desk. However, ever since I started rehearsing for the Gush Women's play I've dreaded wedding invitations because the weddings usually come out the same night as important rehearsal. Tomorrow I'm going with my friend-and-almost-a-bride Sara to the Rabbanut to testify that she is, in fact, single. She said to me on Friday, "can you come with me on Sunday to the Rabbanut and be my 'ed'?" Rockets are constantly falling on Shderot and the government is doing nothing real to stop it. People are afraid to leave their homes, children are traumatized, schools are closed, but who cares?

I'm so angry I could scream.

6 more weeks of school, 6 more coupons to collect from psych experiments, and 6 more hours till I go to sleep.

Philosophical question that popped into my head today:
Love means giving to the other.
You are supposed to love G-d.
But what can you give to G-d? He doesn't need anything. He gives everything to you.
So what's the answer?
