vball tomorrow! Wee! I'm thinking of signing up for French classes through Halifax Rec. That or maybe guitar classes. I feel having one weeknight free of scheduled activities per week is dangerously too much unstructured time.

Hurricane my ass! The storm seems to have largely blown itself out, or at least, never made it up my street. Something about cold water off the south shore interfering with something or another. Booo! It's not even raining outside right now!

How tropically depressing.

I've half a mind to head to the coast to experience the remnants of the hurricane - which will like be a tropical depression(?) by the time it really arrives - but I'd prefer to do that with friends, and it seems there are none about today. Oh well.

Last night, I had a good dinner at a Greek place downtown called Opa!, and saw My Date With Drew and Corpse Bride at the festival (the latter being an advanced screening, with security folks brandishing metal detectors and what seemed to be infrared cameras, in search of bootleggers I suppose). Went hiking with a friend at Taylor Head Provincial Park. It was a great hike. The weather was perfect. The landscape there is amazing.

Camping was awesome. The weather was perfect. We didn't really do a lot of hiking, but we more than made up for that by eating and drinking a whole lot. I shotgunned a beer for the first time. How very frat of me.... I got an applause even.

Toasted sugar timbits are amazing!

Can't wait for the camping trip this weekend... same group, same campground, one extra day and different hikes. More beer. Possibly even excellent weather. I'm glow-in-the-dark mini golfing with a friend tomorrow, then packing for the trip. What could be better?
