As it so happens, my bite did get infected. :[ Thankfully, the guards believed me when I said I was ill and let the doctor on the ship take a look at me. :] With his help, the infection should go away in another day or so. :] Since the bite was on my wrist, it pained me to use my laptop, which is why I haven't been on here that much as of late ( Read more... )

Last night while I was asleep a rat bit me. :[ I reckon I got the wound cleaned up well enough, but I just hope the little bugger doesn't have any diseases. :[ It might take the guards a while to figure out that I'm not faking illness if I happen to get infected with something. :[
