I have been watching A LOT of Project Runway (mostly Canada Season 2.)  I went to Goodwill today and bought this ankle-length tropical green leaf cotton skirt.  My challenge to myself: Make it into a really cool strapless dress.  I am probably crazy, because I don't really know what I am doing.  I'll post pictures, even if it sucks.

I have been thinking about the invitations. I think it would look really nice to do a white card stock with deep blue lettering and a deep blue sailboat stamp. (Perhaps getting 4 invites out of a standard piece of paper- thus a cheap and efficient way of doing it). I could even stamp the back of the envelope ( Read more... )

Rachael sent me a link to this website.  For every correct answer 20 grains of rice are donated to UN World Hunger Program.  I am quite addicted to this game and I think I have reached about 4,000 grains of rice.  It's fun and challenging.
