English DGS confirms I can apply for PhD readmission
The subj. line says it all: I just heard back fr. Jonathan Elmer, Dir. of Grad Studies for IUB English. While he assures me that I can apply for readmission to the PhD program in English 2010+ (i.e. contrary to what Bev the grad secretary told me), he also forewarns me that it is "highly unlikely" that my application will be approved. ...that I can resubmit my application for readmission to IUB's PhD program in English for Fall 2010. The unreality... And just when I was thinking of proceeding with my academic book no. 2 on my absolute own with zero faculty direction. Wow. -

...and just now discovered that I earned an A for S583 (Rare Book Librarianship). That means I have a 4.0 SLIS cumulative GPA for 2008-09. High 5. -

Passed S401 with 102 points
Just confirmed via Oncourse that I've Passed S401 (Computer-Based Information Tools) with a total of 102 points out of the required minimum of 80 and possible maximum of 106. That means if converted into a letter grade, I would've earned an A. High 5.
