Well~! It was definitely a long trip getting all the way here, but I'm finally in the capital and getting settled into my new home of sorts! Though, really, I didn't realize until taking this trip just how far it was and how long it took to get from where my home is over on the Eastern shores to over here in the West. But it's a really long trip~!

Yup~! My hometown is on the coast near the Eastern border~ It's just a tiny town, but it's where I grew up and I'm happy to say I'm from there~! And yeah, because Stella is so big and bustling compared to where I'm from, it's pretty different. Except for the military city set up around the border, most of the east is farmland with little towns spread out everywhere. It's not very cosmopolitan and extravagant like it is here.

It does sound pretty different. A bit hard to imagine since this is what I'm used to. So does that mean it's more spacious? Since you did say they were spread out.

That's good to know~! It should be fun getting to know lots of the people living here then. My family told me people in the capital weren't like us and might not treat me very kindly, but so far, I don't see anything to make me think that's the case, and you seem pretty nice too. They must've been exaggerating so that I wouldn't step on any toes, but I think everything will be fine~

I guess spacious is a good word for it, yeah. We've been called 'quaint' by other people before too, though sometimes I get the feeling they aren't saying it in a pleasant way when they do. But I think it's true that we do take things at a slower pace and we do usually prefer the simple things in life.
