It's amazing how quickly this semester is flying by!  I can't believe that it's almost March, and that I graduate in less than three months.  Wow.  Anyway, school is going great.  Yesterday marked one week that I taught full time, and all in all things are going really well.  The kids had an awesome week, and they continue to do things every day ( Read more... )

So here's a quick update on things.  Life has been really busy lately, but good busy.

School is great!  I absolutely love where I'm teaching.  The school's approach to children and teaching and learning is phenomenal.  I have almost the whole morning, and as of tomorrow, will have most of the afternoon.  Starting next Monday, I'll have the whole ( Read more... )

So it hit me today that this week is it. Today was my last Monday as a student teacher at Mohawk Trails. It's almost the end of the semester, and as much as I've been looking forward to this and as ready as I am for the semester to be over...I'm not so sure that I am. I was informed this evening in class that there are only 18 days left of student teaching for the semester. For me, that's 14 and 3/4 days, since I'll be leaving for Florida the Tuesday afternoon after Thanksgiving break, and missing Wednesday-Friday of that week.
