Just back home after having my first weekend away in almost a year. I went to Newcastle to visit friends. It was very relaxing. We did hit the shops but spent most of the time at home watching dvds, reading and catching up ( Read more... )

Another milestone reached - but not in the health department. I've just had completed my final income tax return. It cost me $165 to get a $3 refund but not having my accountant do it was wrong. Ann has been doing my returns for over 25 years and it was only fitting that she put in my final form.
On the health front - I'm feeling great.

I had to go in for Herceptin today which is fine. It's easy, quick and has no side effects. I spoke to Dave as he left and he is an inspiration to me. He's starting chemo again as the cancer has not been destroyed. He has secondary spots on several organs. He is optimistic and always friendly and supportive. I was able to go to the gym again today and I'm feeling really good. I increased both speed and difficulty on the bike and treadmill which made me feel even better ( Read more... )
