i'm back.

in trying to register for classes at the u of m i've just learned that the nursing faculty continues to place a hold on my account. i thought i'd provided them with all necessary documentation sufficient for the hold to be lifted. apparently not. i can't call the office to have my hold lifted until tuesday - the day i plan to make the ultra-long ( Read more... )

my legs feel like jelly after spending the last two days patrolling two of the larger fires in the district. they're both essentially out, but at 3400 hectares and 1800 hectares, there's a lot of ground to cover. yesterday we found six tiny hotspots (on little islands of green in the middle of the burn) in many hours of patrolling. today we ( Read more... )
